So many things so little time

This is my first attempt at blogging and I guess I just need to get teched up a bit to truly appreciate this form of communication.  I said I would never do this and thus the title "Eating My Words."

I live near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee. I have been married to my husband Ken for 34 years and life has been good.  We have had a variety of occupations, but over the last few I have chosen to create handmade pastas. I have been selling mostly at Farmers Markets in the area, but this year I decided to expand my horizons.  I now sell in several states thru specialty stores.

My friends seem to think that my life is interesting, I always figured it was just the way it was. So what have I been doing?  This week I have made pasta of course-spent some time writing a blog, worked at putting a new herb bed in, finished a quilt for my nephew, cooked dinner for some friends-my favorite part of the week so far-finished my new website and all of the other things one does around the house.

This weekend I go to my first summer Farmers Market in Knoxville TN. It is downtown in the Square and everyone comes down to buy fresh vegetables, baked goods and of course pasta. It is an event, people come with their children and dogs and make a day of it.

No complaining here-my life is full and I am grateful.

I love your new website and, of course, I love your pasta. Looking at this has made me hungry for the Garden Herb that you make so I will be going to Tree and Vine, here in Asheville, to pick up a few packages. Also, I am so very happy for you and your success in the pasta business! Have another great market.

I was told people are having trouble leaving comments so this is a test.
